Nominations

ISE® Nominees are VIP guests at the ISE® Summit and Awards and receive personal recognition during the evening award gala. Each nominee is also showcased in the nominee galleries on the ISE Connects website. Our nominations process is simple, yet thorough, and can be completed by an executive or project team on their own behalf, a boss, employee, peer, or a technology partner. Once you decide to participate, the first step is to prequalify your nominee as eligible for submission.

The Information Security Executive® of the Year Award recognizes the individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of information security in the past 12-24 months. Presented to a Chief Security Officer (or an executive in an equivalent position), this award honors exemplary achievement and excellence in leadership, innovation, responsibility, goal alignment, partnerships and vision for the future within their organization and in the industry as a whole.

The Information Security Project of the Year Award honors the key members of a team who have made the greatest positive impact on their organization with a project completed in the past 18-24 months. The Project must show measurable results and success in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, governance, privacy and/or information/network security performance of the organization.

Selected by the security industry at-large, The ISE® People’s Choice Award recognizes the executive category nominee, who best exemplifies the attributes of a leader in the security industry. Security practitioners who can provide a valid business email and security-related title are invited to submit their votes online. One vote per person. Ballots are tabulated by ISE Connects and the winner is announced during the ISE Awards Gala. Executive nominees are automatically eligible for the ISE® People’s Choice Award.
